This blog is all about my life & opinions about everything. There are stories about my family & all the things that we want to do, including any plans for travel and future. There may be a lot of randomness....
So we are up & out of my dad's house by 7am. It was hard and I tried to leave quickly, my poor baby girl even cried-I felt soooo bad for her. Usually I'm the only one crying, but she really didn't want to leave :( So, we said goodbye-hope to be back soon (permanently) and we drove off!
About an hour out, we stopped for breakfast and had to practically make a run for it, LOL! There were like 20 buses full of kids!! By the time we got inside, the Dunkin Doughnuts line was like a mile long-ugh, there goes my coffee! So we had no other choice but to eat burgers at Wendy's, everything else had super long lines that we didn't want to wait on!
We grabbed our burgers and left. A little while later Laz asks me if I want to stop at Clearwater Aquarium. At this point, I'm not 100% sure-I was sad about leaving & felt like just being home to calculate & come up with good, concrete reasons to move to Florida. On the other hand, I really wasn't looking…
Well, not quite. It's 12:20 pm, my lunch time is almost over and I'm not ready for it to be over :( Days like these that I start counting down to the weekend. Fortunately for me--it is almost Friday!
With the weekend coming up, I'm already thinking of what is ahead! :) Baseball, shopping, cleaning, studying and fun with the family. I do have a lot to do during the weekend, but its all mine!! Especially this weekend, being that its Mother's Day on Sunday-hehehehehe! I plan on doing nothing!! No cooking! No cleaning! Nothing!!! All I ask for is that my hubby & kids take care of any food prep and clean up afterwards-keeping my fingers crossed that it happens!
I recently had the opportunity to try out little passports. This is a monthly subscription package for kids aged 5-12 years old. Its an adventure that follows Sam and Sofia through their travels. Each month your child will recieve a new packet with activities from a different part of the world.
The first shipment is this suitcase with a passport and introductory letter from Sam and Sofia. My daughter was so happy when she saw this. She loved reading the letter and doing the activity sheet. Now she eagerly awaits her next shipment from Sam and Sophia to see where they've been!
This is a wonderful, fun and educational activity for all kids! It is a great way to learn about places that your kids have not been to and my daughter is now really excited about traveling!
