Catching up....Trying anyway.....

July 1st already!!!  Yes, sadly the month of June flew by faster than I thought - we've done so much and I've had little time to do all of the things we've wanted to do.  Now that school is officially over, I'm hoping to regain some of my time back.  First on my list - clean & organize my house!  Its been so hectic this past month that I haven't given my home the attention it needs.  I have piles of paperwork, junk mail, magazines, uncompleted projects and so much more just laying around everywhere you turn.  Its time to attack these piles!!  I also need to get a schedule together to be able to write my blog posts regularly-no more letting a month go by with nothing!!

So now that I know everything I need to do, I will start with telling you what we've done this past month.  First up was the May Crowning at my daughter's school - she was so cute.  She had to go to school in her Communion dress and both her and one of her classmates crowned the Virgin Mary.


A few weeks after the May Crowning, we had baby girl's dance competition in Vineland, NJ.  This was exhausting but so much fun.  I love seeing her dance and have a great time!!










After the competition weekend we had Memorial Day and a few days later the Memorial Day parade.  This was the first time in many years that ODS participates in a parade - and I hope they do more because it really was fun!








This wraps up the month of May!!  I'll have June in a few days :)

First Week on Herbalife!!!

So today I weighed in after 1 week on herbalife.  No huge loss, but good enough for me - 4lbs less!  The shakes aren’t bad at all and can be filling for 2-3 hours so its very important to have those healthy snacks ready!  The tea, which I drink right after the shake isn’t terrible, I just wish I could add atleast a teaspoon of sugar!  I try to drink it quickly and not think about it!  My snacks this week have consisted of strawberries, carrots, hummus with pita chips and yogurt.  My dinner has been fairly normal and at the right portion so I don’t go over my calorie count - which I’m still keeping track of on My Fitness Pal!  Last weekend was very hectic so I didn’t really keep a good meal schedule - snacks skipped and 1 meal skipped - so I think that may have hurt my progress.  I’ll see how this week goes and this weekend should be better, so I will see what next Friday brings!  I’m hoping to lose 5 lbs!  :)

Missing In Action.....

Ugh, I can't believe how much time I've let go by without posting anything.  Yeah, my life has gotten in the way - my schedule has been so hectic and I've been so stressed that when I get home after work, I just sit on my coach, eat dinner and go to bed.  When my alarm goes off at 5am - my routine starts all over again....just terrible!
Now that school is winding down, and activities are also coming to an end - I'm hoping to come back to my regular blogging and catch everyone up on what's been going on in our lives.  Its been fun, stressful, crazy but it is our lives - what more can I say!

Looking at the clock now I see that it is passed my bedtime - back to work tomorrow!
